PRECIOUS FORESTS FOUNDATION (PFF) engages itself for the lasting preservation of natural tropical forests. On the one hand, the value of ecosystem services of tropical forests have to be demonstrated more clearly and on the other hand, the multiple use of renewable timber and non-timber products has to be promoted. PFF is committed to the development of innovations based on application-oriented research in tropical forests and sustainably used forest-areas. In that way, forestry practice in the tropics is optimized and strengthened by relevant, value-creating and concrete measures.
