Millions of people live in tropical forest regions and millions more worldwide benefit indirectly from tropical forest systems, their products and services. The conservation of tropical forests is therefore a top priority.

In the first few years after its foundation, PRECIOUS FORESTS FOUNDATION (PFF) supported various application-oriented research projects. This is because new findings that are implemented directly in practice use tropical forests more carefully, enable the local population to earn a living and preserve their natural wealth and potential for the benefit of people and nature. You can find a selection of supported projects below.

PFF stopped supporting such projects in 2024 and reorganized itself.
